Paul & Bohne

Paul & Bohne roasts its own coffee and runs several small shops around Graz, with the Lendplatz location sitting right in the middle of Lend, a district known for its market stalls and mixed international food scene. Inside, the room the shop calls its Bohnzimmer, or bean room, holds most of the seating, backed up by a garden area and, in warmer months, sidewalk tables that catch a quiet morning crowd before the market gets busy.

The counter runs through a rotating range of blends and single origin coffees, brewed by the cup on V60 and French press on request, alongside beans and home brewing equipment for sale. Workshops on brewing and roasting run periodically for anyone who wants to go deeper than a cup at the counter. The shop closes on Mondays and keeps shorter weekend hours than its weekday schedule.
