A43 Coffee

A43 Coffee takes its name straight from its address at number 43 on Kungsportsavenyen, Gothenburg's main boulevard, opening in 2017 with beans sourced from a rotating set of micro roasters rather than a single house supplier. The shop has since picked up local recognition for its coffee program, winning the city's Barista's Coffee Experience prize and being named Avenue Company of the Year, and grown into a small local group with further addresses inside NK department store and the converted Gamlestadens Fabriker complex.

The original Avenyn room stays small and focused, built for curiosity over volume, with a curated tea list and homemade snacks running alongside the coffee, a Greek style freddo espresso among the specific pours regulars come back for.
