Café Calico

Café Calico runs near Gare Cornavin in Pâquis as a tightly focused specialty counter rather than a full cafe, working with Henauer, a roaster based in Höri near Zurich, instead of roasting its own beans. Two house blends anchor the menu, Alma, lighter and fruit forward, and Pablo, darker and built on Italian tradition, alongside rotating single origin lots that are all one hundred percent arabica.

Milk comes from the Geneva terroir, with plant based alternatives on offer, and a recent remodel gave the room a clean, minimalist counter service layout with a new streetside terrace. Coffee gets brewed to order in full view of the counter, and the team takes pre orders for anyone who wants a fast pickup rather than a sit down visit.
