Kali Coffee Bar is a little hideaway on Upper Salthill Road, run by Laura and Enda Johnston with the aim of serving great coffee without the snobbery. Enda won the Irish Brewers Cup in 2023 and went on to represent Ireland at the International Brewers Cup in Athens, and the bar still calls itself home to the 2023 champion.

There are sunny and shaded seats outside and a garden space with bean bags under a sycamore tree. Dogs are welcome, and the team is learning Irish Sign Language so the bar can be deaf friendly. A small retail and gallery corner sits inside the room.
