THE LOCAL COFFEE STAND FUKUOKA opened in March 2020 on the ground floor of THE BASICS FUKUOKA hotel, facing Nakahie Park a short walk from Hakata Station. Coffee is the focus, but the menu stays easygoing, with house sweets and non coffee drinks for people who arrive for something else and end up curious about the cup.

The stand has no roaster of its own. Its hand drip coffee uses beans from a different guest roastery each month, so the lineup changes through the year, and the bar brews on a Hario V60 and a Kalita Wave with espresso from a La Marzocco machine.
