Manly Coffee began on October 1, 2008, Coffee Day, in a small apartment room, and settled in Hirao in 2016 in a lane of old houses. In spring 2022 it reopened as a roastery built around a Loring Smart Roaster and a La Marzocco Linea PB espresso machine.

The team brings competition habits to a small bright shop, with entries in the World AeroPress Championship and several years as host of the Japan AeroPress Championship. Fresh beans and fresh brewing sit at the center of how it works, and the shop sells beans, coffee bags and a milk brew.
