Homachiame Coffee is a very small roastery in a ground floor room of an old apartment building in Ropponmatsu, where it opened its own space in January 2020 after starting out in 2017. The owner is a competition brewer who won the Fadie Cup Hand Drip Championship in 2017 and 2018, finished second at the Japan Hand Drip Championship in 2020 and third at the Japan AeroPress Championship in 2023.

The beans are roasted on the premises and the owner hand brews the coffee of the moment at the counter, happy to talk through what is in the cup. Seating is limited to a few small tables, and drinks can be taken away.
