Coffeeman Roasting & Planning Cafe

Coffeeman opened in Ropponmatsu in February 2016, set back in an alley behind the main street. It is run by roaster Takaomi Eguchi, who won the national roasting competition title in 2014, and the name Roasting and Planning Cafe reflects the idea of suggesting the right cup for each guest.

The house blends come in four steps from light to dark, and single origins are roasted at different levels, with a decaf as well. Roasting happens on a six kilogram Giesen semi hot air roaster, and the counter and tables hold about eight seats.
