Adachi Coffee

The granite fronted shop of Adachi Coffee with a white From Seed to Cup sign, open wooden framed folding doors, a cafe table on the tiled pavement and a chalkboard offering a coffee for 200 yen

Adachi Coffee's shop in Kego is a roastery counter on the corner by Yakuin Rokutsu, built around the owner's buying trips. Adachi Kazuhiro travels to producing countries in Central and South America to choose his own lots, and the company belongs to Japan Roasters Network, a group of roasters that buys green coffee together. Everything sold is specialty grade, roasted in the company's own roastery and following a from seed to cup idea.

The range runs from light to medium dark roasts, mixing single origin lots with house blends, and new arrivals are announced every few weeks. The shop is compact, with only a handful of seats, so many customers buy beans or take a drink away.
