Manly The Office

Florentine baristas Maykol Martino and Alice Risani opened Manly The Office in San Frediano in 2023, naming the shop after Manly, the Sydney beach suburb where they both spent time living and working before returning home. Mustard yellow cushions, bamboo touches, and a backlit mural of Manly beach carry the reference through the small storefront, built on what the pair learned about Australian cafe hospitality abroad.

Coffee comes from Florentine micro roastery D612, anchored by a house espresso blend called L'Australiano built on Brazilian and Ethiopian beans. The all day menu runs from pancakes, banana bread, and avocado toast at breakfast through bagels with salmon and non dairy milk options, an Australian cafe format still fairly rare in central Florence.
