Sprout Coffee Roasters

Brothers Daniell and Ruben grew up in Eindhoven, were raised in Perth, Australia, and ran a small espresso bar there before bringing the idea home in 2019 to found Sprout, a roastery on the old gas works site. Ruben started making coffee at thirteen, and the pair now build the business around direct relationships with growers, sourcing beans through a supply chain they can trace themselves rather than through a broker.

A monthly subscription, customizable between espresso and filter roasts, makes up much of the business, and Sprout supplies its own beans to other Eindhoven counters, Jungle Café among them. The roastery itself opens for takeaway only on weekend mornings, a narrow window built for people who already know they are coming rather than passing trade.
