Blue Monkey runs out of a small unit on Kőlyuk út, on the edge of Eger away from the postcard center, easy to miss if you are not looking for it. Owner Anita Krusper placed second in a Hungarian barista championship in October 2025, and the shop's small footprint has not stopped it from building a loyal following, a perfect five star average across every review it has collected so far.

Single origin lots rotate through with tasting notes posted alongside them, a recent Brazil Minas Gerais described as round and sweet with a milk chocolate finish and a roasted hazelnut character. Green coffee fills the room with its smell during a roast, well before any of it reaches a cup, and whole bean bags go home with anyone who wants to keep the pour going after they leave.
