Kaffeeschmiede

The KAFFEESCHMIEDE Privatrösterei Tamas Fejer espresso machine with a stack of branded cups on top

Tamas Fejér opened Kaffeeschmiede in Oberkassel in 2007, roasting on site and building the menu around the coffee house traditions of Vienna alongside the standard Italian repertoire of cappuccino and espresso. The building sits among the neighborhood's older addresses, with a terrace that fills up on weekend mornings.

Cakes and waffles come out of the kitchen daily, with quiche and empanadas covering the savory side and a full vegan menu running in parallel. It stays open all year, including public holidays, Monday to Friday from 8:30am to 6pm and weekends from 9:30am to 6pm.
