Coffee Break runs out of a building on the University of Dubrovnik campus, a few minutes' walk from the Old Town walls and worlds away from the queues along Stradun. University students and staff make up a good share of the regular crowd, alongside anyone who has found their way over from the tourist center for a quieter cup.

The menu covers espresso, matcha and fruit smoothies, with oat milk among the dairy free options, plus acai bowls, croissants and simple sandwiches for breakfast or a light lunch. It has built a reputation as one of the most consistently well reviewed cafes in the city, run as its own coffee bar within the campus building rather than a general cafeteria.
