Cypher Urban Roastery

Cypher has been roasting in Dubai since 2016, and its home is a warehouse in Al Quoz Industrial Area 3 where sacks of green coffee, Probat roasters, a cupping lab and a brew counter share the same floor. Founded by Q Grader Mohamad Merhi, it works as a green coffee trader and roaster for wholesale clients, with a cafe counter for anyone who wants to taste what comes off the machines.

The range runs from house blends to single origins and rare lots, poured as filter coffee at the counter, with retail shelves of beans, drip bags, capsules, brewing gear and local ceramics to take home. The same team runs a training academy that teaches SCA and CQI certified courses in Arabic and English, so a visit pairs easily with a class or a stroll over to Alserkal Avenue.
