Alchemy Coffee

Alchemy opened in April 2018 in a white, cube shaped villa on Al Wasl Road, its name glowing in blue letters above a wall of floor to ceiling windows, and the minimalist rooms inside are all pale wood and marble with a terrace that looks over a swimming pool. It is an Emirati owned, homegrown cafe, and free parking is on 39B Street right beside it.

The beans come from ethical single farm coffees, roasted by a mix of European roasters and Dubai's Cypher Urban Roastery, and the menu runs from Chemex to macchiatos. The team also hosts coffee workshops on brewing, fermentation and sensory cupping, and the cafe has been recognised for its milk based coffee at the Dubai Loves Coffee competition.
