Queen City Collective Coffee Five Points

A bright room at Queen City Collective Coffee with a wooden floor, an exposed brick wall, high tables with a guest at a laptop, a black counter with a pastry case and a grinder, and a painted coffee plant mural on the white wall

Queen City Collective Coffee is built around the idea that coffee is a chain linking farmers to drinkers. The company buys through direct relationships with producers, visits them at harvest, and runs a traceability project that shares profit with producers, then roasts the coffee in Colorado.

The Five Points cafe on Welton Street opened in September 2019 in the former Purple Door Coffee space, the first cafe the company had to itself. The team knocked out a wall to open up the bright, window lined room and refinished the wood floors, and a glass door with the Queen City logo replaced the old purple one. It is the cozier of the company's rooms and opens every day from half past six in the morning to half past two in the afternoon. The entrance is wheelchair accessible.
