Queen City Collective Coffee Berkeley

The ochre brick corner building at 4999 with dark diamond ornaments, a Queen City Collective Coffee sign beside a second business sign over a dark framed glass door, and red patio umbrellas to the right

Queen City Collective Coffee is built around the idea that coffee is a chain linking farmers to drinkers. The company buys through direct relationships with producers, visits them at harvest, and runs a traceability project that shares profit with producers, then roasts the coffee in Colorado. Recent releases have included an Ethiopian Banko Gotiti and a Guatemalan San Lorenzo.

The Berkeley cafe on West 44th Avenue took over the shop from Devil's Cup in June 2024, while that company kept its Littleton cafe. It is open every day from half past six in the morning to five in the afternoon, later than the company's Baker and Five Points rooms. The entrance and parking lot are wheelchair accessible.
