MiddleState Coffee Highlands

MiddleState Coffee is a Denver roaster that buys small lots from small farms and says it favors complexity, cleanliness, acidity and the kind of sweetness that makes tasting notes easy to find. Both of its cafes also serve natural wines.

The Highlands cafe, known to the company as LiddleState, sits on the corner of West 32nd Avenue and Clay Street in the historic Potter Highlands neighborhood. It is a smaller, cozy room with booth seating that offers a similar mix of food and drink to the Santa Fe Drive flagship, wine included. It opens every day from seven in the morning to three in the afternoon, and the entrance has a hearing loop and wheelchair access.
