MiddleState Coffee Baker

MiddleState Coffee is a Denver roaster that buys small lots from small farms and says it favors complexity, cleanliness, acidity and the kind of sweetness that makes tasting notes easy to find. Both of its cafes also serve natural wines.

This cafe on Santa Fe Drive is attached to the company's roastery, with the roasting floor visible through a wall of glass. MiddleState began in the back room of a Denver menswear store before moving into this brick building. The food menu includes baked goods from Reunion Bread, house made waffles and burritos from Bonfire Burritos. It opens every day from seven in the morning to three in the afternoon. The entrance is wheelchair accessible.
