Blue Sparrow Coffee RiNo

Teal leather booth seating, dark wood tables and bentwood chairs, with a long wooden counter and black stools in the foreground inside a Blue Sparrow Coffee cafe.

Blue Sparrow Coffee opened its first cafe on Blake Street in RiNo in 2017, in a space of fewer than five hundred square feet, built around a rotation of guest roasters before it began roasting its own coffee. The shop is known for its Headliner espresso, and the company now names its blends for the Denver streets where its cafes sit.

A charge on single use cups is one part of a sustainability program that also includes recognition as a Certifiably Green Denver business, regular sustainability reports, and a contribution from every bag sold to Zero Foodprint, which funds soil health grants. It opens every day from half past six in the morning to half past five in the evening. The entrance, parking lot and restroom are wheelchair accessible.
