Wayward Coffee Co (Oak Cliff)

Wayward Coffee Co began in the summer of 2019 as a mobile coffee setup run from Floyd, a 1975 Volkswagen bus parked in the Bishop Arts District, and opened a permanent shop on West Davis Street in northwest Oak Cliff in 2020. The company puts people and community first, and its main coffee comes from Cat and Cloud in Santa Cruz, with guest roasters from around the world rotating through.

The menu runs from espresso and cortado to pour over, flash brew and cold brew, with rotating single origin options on both espresso and filter. Vanilla, lavender and simple syrups are made in house, and oat and almond milk are available. The shop sits in a brick building with sidewalk tables, and it is open from seven in the morning until seven in the evening every day.
