Wayward Coffee Co (Design District)

This is the Design District home of Wayward Coffee Co, a Dallas company that started in 2019 serving coffee from a 1975 Volkswagen bus before opening its first shop in Oak Cliff. The newer room on Irving Boulevard is more spacious, and the company describes itself as a good coffee company dedicated to community and quality.

Cat and Cloud from Santa Cruz is the main roaster, joined by guest roasters from around the world, and the bar pours espresso, cortado, cappuccino, pour over and flash brew, with rotating single origin options. Syrups, including vanilla and lavender, are made in house, tea comes from Art of Tea in Los Angeles, and oat and almond milk are offered. The doors open at seven and close at seven every day.
