Native Coffee Co

The limestone and brick front of suite 120 on Bee Street in Farmers Branch, with a black lettered Locals Lounge sign above a glass door, an American flag, a patio heater, a crepe myrtle tree and a white sandwich board outside

Native Coffee Co was founded in 2018 by father and son Tracy and Luke Jackson, and Colombian producer Diego Bermudez became a co owner in 2023. It works as a roastery and showroom for coffees from his farms, many of them roasted in Colombia within weeks of harvest and shipped north, so the bar pours coffees that are unusually young and unusually experimental.

The pour over menu leans on advanced fermentation and thermal shock processing, with cups described as spiced citrus, lemongrass, ginger and lime, alongside washed pink bourbon and other lots from Bermudez's newer project, Hachi. Guest roasters and matcha also appear on the menu, and the baristas are happy to walk guests through the process, producer and profile. The shop is in Farmers Branch, north of Dallas.
