JuJu's Coffee

The wooden counter at JuJu's Coffee with a white espresso machine, a letter board menu on the wall behind, framed portraits of the team in party hats along the front and orange chairs

JuJu's Coffee began as Otis, a 1962 Airstream that Julia and Nick Rocha, both University of North Texas graduates, rebuilt as a mobile coffee shop, serving weddings, markets and neighborhood events from 2022. When a space came up on La Vista Drive in Lakewood that already had a roaster in it, the pair opened a small shop there.

Everything served is roasted in house, and syrups and alternative milks are made in house as well. The house espresso is the East Dallas Blend, and single origins and seasonal blends are available over the counter and online, roasted every week. The room is bright, with pink floors, orange chairs and a retro espresso machine, and it works better as a quick stop than an all day stay. The shop is closed on Tuesdays.
