Hola Cafe

The white painted front of Hola Cafe with a large window showing a glowing neon Hola sign, black pendant lamps and a white counter, and wooden benches outside

Hola Cafe started in 2019 as a tiny coffee window on North Tyler Street in Oak Cliff, opened by Jeniffer Avila and Daniel Hinojosa, and it moved across the street to a larger room as its following grew. Avila grew up helping her grandmother harvest coffee in Honduras, and the drinks lean on that Latin American background.

Espresso is pulled on a La Marzocco machine, and the menu mixes well made cappuccinos and cortados with a dulce latte, a horchata latte and a Mexican mocha. The room is minimal, with couches for lingering, though many people still order to go. It opens at half past six on weekdays, closes in the middle of the afternoon and is closed on Sundays.
