El Porton Coffee

El Porton Coffee is built on ties to El Salvador, the home of co founders Bruno Bianchi and Isabel Amaya, and its name, Spanish for the gate, recalls the entrances to coffee farms there. The coffee is sourced from producers whose families have refined their farming over generations and is roasted in Arlington, with the aim of opening a gateway to the story behind each bean.
The cafe in Casa Linda serves pour overs, a horchata cold brew and taro lattes beside empanadas that reflect flavors from across Latin America, and cold brew growlers and bags of coffee can be taken home. It is open from seven to three on weekdays and Saturdays and from nine to two on Sundays, in the Casa Linda area near White Rock Lake.
