Cultivar Coffee Roasting Co

Cultivar Coffee Roasting Co began in 2009 in a garage, started by two baristas and roasters, Jonathan Meadows and Nathan Shelton, who believed coffee deserved to be treated as a culinary experience. They roast in East Dallas on a Probat, supply wholesale partners and ship fresh beans widely, with a focus on single origin lots and on visiting the growers, exporters and importers behind them.

The coffee bar lives inside Goodfriend Package, a scratch kitchen deli on Peavy Road, and serves espresso and matcha drinks, drip and manual pour overs made with coffee roasted in house. The bean shelf under the neon sign is restocked every Saturday morning with coffee roasted a few days earlier, including blends, single origins and limited releases.
