Impact Roasters Carlsberg Byen

Impact Roasters' Carlsberg Byen café sits on Tapperitorvet in the old brewery district, a tall room of warm plastered walls, a bright yellow panel, woven pendant lamps and African inspired décor, with a roaster standing beside the café tables and bags of freshly roasted beans lining the shelves. The chalkboard behind the counter is headed Etiopisk Kaffe and runs from espresso drinks to filter and Chemex.
The company was founded in 2015 to bridge Denmark and Ethiopia, buying directly from small Ethiopian farmers without middlemen and putting profits back into education, jobs and farming practices there. The room is also used for private events. It opens at half past seven on weekdays and half past nine at weekends, closing at six every day.
