Sip & Savor

The counter and pastry case at Sip & Savor beneath the shop's painted wall text

Trez V. Pugh III, a former Marine who didn't originally drink coffee, founded Sip and Savor around what the brand calls the Sip Experience, a concept built as much around financial literacy and generational wealth in the Black community as around the coffee itself. It reads as a genuinely mission driven specialty coffee chain rather than a single independent cafe.

This 43rd Street room had its hours extended in late 2025 to absorb customers from a nearby Sip and Savor location that closed, part of a wider run of closures across the chain through 2026 worth watching even as this particular room remains open today.
