Side Practice Coffee

Side Practice Coffee opened in 2020 on a corner of North Damen Avenue and calls itself a corner cafe that showcases the community's side practices. The idea runs through the whole space, which carries a retail wall, a room that can be rented for gatherings and regular pop ups that bring guest cooks and artists through the door.

The coffee is specialty espresso and filter, and the drinks bring Filipino flavors into the specialty coffee conversation. The cafe sits where Bowmanville meets Lincoln Square, a short walk from the neighborhood's other independent shops, and it keeps simple hours, opening at seven in the morning and closing at three every day, seven days a week.
