Magnífico Coffee Roasters

Magnífico Coffee Roasters is a family run roaster and cafe on North Milwaukee Avenue in Avondale, named in honor of the founders' abuelita Viri. Coffee is roasted in house, with the focus on single origin coffees from Colombia and across Latin America, bought through partners who work with small growers on training and fair pay.

The cafe carries a Colombian accent in its details, from the pastries and treats to the handcrafted art and family heirlooms around the room, and the team describes the place as somewhere to feel at home in the neighborhood. Single origin bags, subscriptions and merchandise are sold, and the shop opens at seven and closes at four every day of the week.
