Intelligentsia Broadway Coffeebar

The Broadway Coffeebar in Lakeview East is where Intelligentsia began in 1995, and it remains the company's flagship. A recent refresh gave the space a more communal feel, with room to sit, talk and stay, with exposed concrete and strings of hanging bulbs overhead that give the room its warm, workshop feel.

The bar serves the full Intelligentsia range of espresso drinks and filter coffee, made from beans the company sources and roasts itself. There is free wifi, a patio open all day and online ordering for pickup, so a coffee can be ready when you arrive. The doors open at six thirty on weekdays and Saturdays and at seven on Sundays, and the bar stays open until seven in the evening every day.
