Masná 130 Espresso Bar

Petra Hanáková and her husband spent months restoring a fifteenth century house just off the lane leading up to Krumlov's castle before opening this small cafe in 2018. Petra grew up a few doors away and trained as a barista herself, and the room she built keeps one long communal table at its center, ringed by smaller tables under hanging plants and brass fittings, with a converted antique sewing machine doing service as a side table by the window.
Espresso, Kalita, and AeroPress all run on beans from Has Bean roastery, with guest roasters rotating through across the year for anyone after something different. The kitchen turns out fresh bread, sandwiches, and traditional Czech gingerbread called modlitbičky, and a small case near the counter holds jewelry made by local designers. It stays shut Monday and Tuesday, then runs midweek into the afternoon and a bit longer on weekends.
