Pražírna kávy IDEAL

A vintage Berkel coffee scale on the counter at Pražírna kávy IDEAL, surrounded by bean jars, fresh flowers, and a handwritten menu board

A few minutes on foot from the historic core, past where most day trippers turn back, this tiny roastery keeps its production and its handful of seats in the same small room. Sacks that once held green coffee now double as stools, and the shelves carry enough vintage cups and roasting gear that the space feels more like someone's kitchen than a shop front.

The roaster works through single origin arabica from Tanzania, Honduras, Colombia, Ethiopia, Brazil, and several other countries, alongside a house blend called Směs IDEAL built with a touch of robusta for extra caffeine. Espresso and French press are both on offer to drink in, and every origin is also sold by the bag for anyone wanting to keep brewing at home.
