Cafein

The CAFEIN sign hanging above a pink and yellow facade, with a lantern style wall lamp below it

A short walk past the main cluster of shops on Latrán puts Cafein slightly outside the busiest stretch of the old town, which keeps it noticeably calmer than cafes right by the castle gate. Its outdoor terrace catches a good stretch of afternoon sun, and the room inside leans bright and modern rather than dressed up in the medieval styling common nearby.

Alongside standard espresso and milk drinks, the menu runs to cold brew, matcha lattes, and other flavored specialties that change with the season. Breakfast plates built around eggs, French toast, and pancakes run all day, making it work as well for a late brunch as an early one.
