Rosso Coffee Roasters

Rosso has been roasting in Calgary since the mid 2000s, and the Inglewood cafe sits in one of the city's oldest neighborhoods, a strip of century old storefronts along 9th Avenue that has turned into a walkable stretch of shops and patios. The room is split into three distinct zones, a table with plug in access near the window, a deep corner sofa built for lingering, and a quieter nook set off by a fabric accent wall, so the same space can serve a laptop crowd in the morning and a slower afternoon crowd later on.
Espresso runs through a Linea PB with built in scales, the kind of setup that points to how seriously the bar treats consistency, while pour over is handled on equally deliberate grinders. Bags of Rosso's own roasts line the counter for anyone who wants to take the coffee home, part of a roasting operation that now supplies several of the company's other Calgary locations as well.
