Cafe Dennis

The stone fronted street side of Cafe Dennis in Busan with the DENNIS sign over an open window, guests at tables and metal stools on the pavement and a take out chalkboard by the door

Cafe Dennis sits in a converted house in the lanes near Bujeon station, with an exposed concrete wall, a long table running through an arched opening, an old iron gate turned into a table and plants on every windowsill. Music is a big part of the room.

Filter coffee is the focus, and guests choose from a short list of single origin beans such as Ethiopian and Kenyan lots. The shop began as a gathering place for creative people in the neighborhood and still feels like one.
