Café Registrado

Café Registrado began as a plan in 2015 and opened its first counter in 2017 with a clear ambition: to be more than a café. The team travels to partner farms, cups relentlessly until a lot meets their standard, imports it directly and profiles each variety in their own roasting room, so the Costa Rica street branch in Palermo Hollywood serves coffee they have followed from the origin onward.

A laboratory at the heart of the operation grades every lot to confirm it is true specialty before a nano or micro lot is bought, and the baristas are trained within the Specialty Coffee Association community. Espresso rotates through a changing lineup of origins, filter coffee is brewed with Kalita, V60, Chemex, Aeropress and Clever, and the shop teaches courses and cupping sessions for anyone keen to learn more.
