MABÓ ONE

The bright MABÓ ONE interior with a neon sign overhead, a white bar with a red espresso machine, a milk splash shaped table and black shelving of coffee and equipment

MABÓ ONE on Petru Rareș Street is the flagship of MABÓ Coffee Roasters, the Bucharest roastery founded by Bogdan Georgescu and Marius Beju, whose names, Ma and Bo, give the brand its name. Georgescu was Romania's national roasting champion and World Roasting Vice Champion in Taipei in 2019, and the roastery has been named among the top three specialty roasteries in Europe at the European Coffee and Hospitality Awards.

The room is built around minimalism and natural textures, with light, wood and concrete, a white bar and a milk splash shaped table at its center. Outside, a terrace of benches circles a Japanese maple. Black shelving along the wall holds MABÓ beans and brewing equipment to take home.
