Bandit Specialty Coffee

Bandit has run out of the same quiet back street off Cismigiu since September 2015, ten years now, and it only opens two days a week, Saturday and Sunday from 10 to 4. The shop pours exclusively rare, award winning single origin lots, coffees that have placed at competitions or come from small batch farms rather than a house blend, and the person behind the counter picks the bean for you instead of handing over a menu, a deliberate quirk that regulars mention as part of what makes a visit here different from a normal cafe stop.
A chalkboard behind the espresso station spells out the house rule plainly, laptops are not welcome, keeping the small room focused on the coffee itself rather than turning into a workspace. Ten years in, Bandit still reads as a specialist's shop, more coffee lab than neighborhood hangout, and its limited weekend only hours only reinforce that it rewards people who go looking for it rather than those passing by.
