Kiliane opened Jackie in October 2021 with a simple idea written right on the window: coffee and magazines. Filter and espresso come from specialty roasters such as MOK, and the counter is backed by a shelf of independent titles on design, travel and art that you can read in the room or take home.

A cushioned banquette and a short bar fill the ground floor, a quiet laptop room sits upstairs, and a patio out back opens for sunny days. Cakes are baked in house, plant milk is on offer, and a loyalty card gives you your tenth coffee free.
