Addis Stories

Addis Stories is a Belgian Ethiopian project from Anna and Tèchou Dersie, built around single origin Ethiopian coffee roasted by MOK and poured as espresso, batch brew filter, a spiced Ethiopian macchiato or a cold brew of the day. Nothing else is on the bean list, which makes it an easy place to taste how floral and fruity coffee from the birthplace of the crop can be.

The room is bright and full of woven textiles, pottery and Ethiopian craft you can take home, with a quiet courtyard behind. Kemem spice tea, moringa lattes and sourdough toasts with raw Ethiopian honey or spiced chickpea spread sit alongside the coffee, oat and pea milk are free, and a traditional jebena buna coffee ceremony runs on selected Sundays by reservation.
