Greytone Coffee

The red brick storefront of Greytone Coffee on Dean Street with a large GREYTONE window sign and a lettered sandwich board by the door

Greytone Coffee is a minimalist cafe and roastery in Dean Street Works, on the St Pauls side of Stokes Croft. The idea is a space for the slow moment, a quiet and artful retreat with pale walls, tall windows and a neutral palette that lets the coffee speak for itself, rather than a place that asks you to hurry.

The beans are now roasted in Bristol in one harmonious style, with no separate espresso and filter roasts, aiming for a clean and balanced cup that works through any brew method. Single origin lots from Colombia, Ethiopia, Peru and Kenya are listed online and sold as bags to take home. Look for the plain brick frontage and the lettered sandwich board on the corner of Dean Street.
