Dareshack

A black and white view along a busy coffee bar with baristas at work, chalkboard menus on the left and pendant lamps under an industrial ceiling

Dareshack is a speciality coffee bar on Wine Street in the Old City, on the ground floor of the Vintry Building. The space runs to 4,000 square feet and pairs a busy coffee bar with a working studio, so it doubles as a place for art exhibitions and community events as well as a spot to drink coffee in the middle of town.

The room is raw and lively, with exposed pipework, pendant lamps, hanging plants and chalkboard menus above a long counter that is rarely still. Speciality coffee, tea and matcha come with freshly baked pastries and a house Basque cheesecake, and the bar opens at half past seven on weekdays, which makes it an easy stop before work or a long catch up later in the day.
