Rory and Holly opened Dandy on Sydney Street in the summer of 2024, fitting a petite coffee shop into one of North Laine's favorite shopping streets. A large front window doubles as the best seat in the house, perfect for a pourover, a piccolo, and steady people watching on a sunny afternoon.

Coffee comes from West Sussex roaster Murmuration, poured through a minimalist, relaxed space the owners built to feel comfortable rather than intimidating. The shop shifts identity on Friday evenings, when the counter switches from coffee service to natural wine and cocktails, running until 10pm before returning to filter and espresso the next morning.
