Locals Coffee Roasters

Locals Coffee Roasters built its name in Tilburg over a decade before opening this second location on Ginnekenstraat in April 2025, bringing its own roastery and a direct trade sourcing story from South and Central America, India, Ethiopia and Indonesia with it. Every lot scores above 80 on the SCA scale, and the counter matches specific beans to specific brew methods, espresso, filter or cold brew, rather than running one blend across the board.

The name points at the kitchen as much as the coffee: cheese from 't Kaashuys, regional dairy and bread from Echt Brood all come from producers close to home, a local sourcing ethos that extends past the beans. A terrace out front and retail bags to go round out a shop still building its Breda reputation less than two years in.
