Brew Bar Cafe

Brew Bar opened in 2013 as one of the first destinations in Bratislava built entirely around specialty coffee, founder David Frajt wanting to bring the third wave discovery he had made abroad back to his hometown. The shop has run its own house roast under the Linden name since 2016, moving from buying in beans to controlling the whole chain itself.

The room in Ruzinov leans toward a lounge feel, plant filled corners and warm lighting rather than a stark bar counter, matched with a menu that still centers on the espresso and filter side of specialty coffee. More than a decade in, it remains a reference point for the city's newer rooms rather than a relic of an earlier scene.
