L'Alchimiste Café Boutique

Arthur Audibert left a banking career to study the craft of roasting and launched L'Alchimiste as a wholesale roastery in 2014, opening this street level counter on a quiet cobblestoned lane in the old town two years later. The brand has since grown into three coffee shops around the city, including a training focused outpost at the Darwin ecosystem on the right bank, while the Vieille Tour address stays the original public counter and boutique.
Flat whites made with oat milk and pour over filter coffee sit alongside a rotating list of traceable, seasonal lots the shop roasts itself. The counter doubles as a small boutique selling bags of those same beans alongside brewing gear, and a short pastry case covers the rest of a stop that regulars treat as a quick morning counter rather than a place to linger for hours.
