KURO Espresso Bar

Pascal Gabard runs this narrow espresso bar tucked into a lane just off the Triangle d'Or near the Grand Théâtre, a room so small that around ten seats fill the whole space, with a little terrace out back that opens up once the weather turns warm. He works the counter himself most days, choosing coffee through partnerships with French and European roasters rather than running his own roasting setup.

A flat white and an almond flavored latte sit on the menu alongside homemade quiches, croissants and a rotating pastry case, built for a quick stop rather than a long sit down, and the shop has kept a loyal following for years on the strength of its cappuccino and its friendly, attentive service.
